- Who can apply?
- The program is open to US persons and businesses, including personal-finance creators, budgeting educators, newsletters, podcasters, community leaders, and customers who understand Zowda. You do not need a paid Zowda subscription.
- When can I start sharing referral links?
- If Zowda approves your application in Dub, that approval enrolls you in the program and you can create Affiliate Links. Identity, tax, and payout onboarding affects when earnings can be paid, not whether an approved affiliate may begin sharing links.
- How is commission calculated?
- Commission is 30% of qualifying subscription revenue. Stripe revenue excludes tax and reflects discounts, credits, refunds, and negative prorations. Apple revenue is based on verified storefront proceeds rather than the App Store sticker price, and Dub converts that sale to USD for program reporting and commission.
- How long can a referral earn commission?
- Eligible payments count during the referred customer's first 12 subscription months.
- How does attribution work?
- The most recent eligible affiliate click within the 30-day attribution window receives credit. Once an eligible purchase is attributed, later qualifying payments follow that relationship.
- Does the referred customer receive a discount?
- On web and Android, the customer may receive 10% off their first Stripe payment when another promotion is not used. Apple App Store purchases do not receive the affiliate discount.
- Which purchase channels qualify?
- Eligible subscriptions purchased on the web, through Android's Stripe checkout, or through Apple's App Store can earn commission.
- Can I choose my affiliate link?
- If Zowda approves your application in Dub, you can create custom go.zowda.com links for approved Zowda destinations. Create a new link when you need a new slug; renaming an existing link can stop its old URL from tracking.
- When are payouts made?
- Commissions have a 60-day hold. Eligible balances of at least $50 are reviewed for the next monthly payout; smaller balances carry forward. Onboarding or reconciliation issues can delay payment.
- What happens after a refund or dispute?
- Refunds, credits, chargebacks, and disputes may reduce or reverse the related commission, including through an adjustment against future earnings when necessary.
- Can I refer myself or earn by recruiting affiliates?
- No. Self-referrals do not qualify, and the program does not pay commission merely for recruiting another affiliate.
- Do I need to disclose the relationship?
- Yes. Clearly disclose that you may earn a commission near each recommendation or affiliate link, in a way your audience can easily notice and understand.
- How do tax and payout onboarding work?
- Dub collects the identity, tax, and payout information required for managed payouts. You remain responsible for your own tax obligations.
- Where can I get help?
- Contact Zowda support with program questions or use your Dub dashboard for link and payout onboarding details.
